All aspects of our business are managed in a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible manner in accordance with statutory requirement and international standards. Therefore, we endeavour to create and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy workplace and environment.

The BOL HSSE Policy defines the Company’s HSSE commitment and safety culture. We know that successful management of HSSE in the workplace requires commitment, consultation, and co-operation of all company stakeholders.

BOL encourages all stakeholders active in its workplace whether these are employees or contractors to appreciate the need for HSSE systems and their contribution to making the workplace safer.

The BOL HSSE Policy is important as it: 

  • Demonstrates that BOL is meeting its health, safety and environmental obligations and is committed to working within set HSSE principles.
  • Defines BOL roles and responsibilities and confirms that safe systems of work are recorded, communicated to employees, and implemented in a consistent way throughout the business.
  • And guides the business to manage employees more effectively by defining acceptable and unacceptable behaviour in the workplace.

  • Compliance with all applicable HSSE Legal and other regulatory requirements 
  • Timeous and efficient Emergency and Crisis Management system 
  • HSSE management system with objectives and targets.
