Mr. Callaghan Motlaleng holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Business Management) from Nelson Mandela University (RSA) and a Master of Business Administration from North-West University (RSA).
With over 19 years of experience in the FMCG and Oil & Gas sectors, Mr. Motlaleng has built a distinguished career grounded in supply chain leadership, commercial acumen, and strategic operations management. He began his professional journey in 2007 at SAB Miller Africa as a Market Analyst, later progressing through several key roles in Supply Chain Management. These included Planner โ Demand Planning & Logistics, Manager โ Sales & Distribution Support, and ultimately Manager โ Sales & Operational Planning, where he led integrated business planning processes across functions.
In 2018, Mr. Motlaleng transitioned into the Oil & Gas industry, joining Vivo Energy Botswana as Supply Manager, responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and logistics of fuels, additives, and lubricants. He subsequently served in an executive capacity as Distribution Manager at Engen Marketing Botswana before joining Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) as Senior Manager, Hydrocarbon Sourcing.
Mr. Motlaleng currently serves as the Acting General Manager โ Supply at BOL. In this capacity, he oversees Product Sourcing, Planning, Commercial Operations, and the Citizen Economic Empowerment Programme, ensuring secure supply, commercial efficiency, and strategic development of Botswanaโs fuel value chain.
