Ronny Orlando holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Botswana.ย He also holds a diploma and Barchelor's Degree
in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the same University. As part of his professional development, Mr. Orlando completed a Leadership Development Program with the University of Stellenbosch. Mr. Orlando has also attended training on Project Management Essentials and Microsoft Projects Skills. He is a registered Engineer with Engineering Registration Board of Botswana (ERB) and a member of Botswana Institution of Engineers (BIE).
Mr. Orlando is experienced in implementing and auditing Integrated Management Systems involving ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (OHSAS 18001) & ISO 17025 Standards. He has been trained on Hazards Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), Incident Management and Hazards and Effects Management Process (HEMP).

Mr. Orlando brings over twenty (20) years of professional experience. He began his career as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Botswana from 2004, a position he held until 2009. He then joined the Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS) as a Senior Engineer in 2009. In June 2015, he moved to Air Liquide Botswana as the SHEQ & IMS Manager and was later promoted to Industrial Merchant & Operations Manager in May 2017. In October 2017, he joined Vivo Energy Botswana as the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Manager.
