Oscar B. Isaacs holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, and has completed the Accelerated Leadership Programme through GIBS/University of Pretoria. He is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and a member of the Institute of Directors Southern Africa (IoDSA) and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). With over 22 years of experience across the petroleum and energy, manufacturing, engineering, and industrial sectors, he has built a distinguished career in supply chain management, operations, engineering, maintenance, governance, and business leadership.
Beyond his executive leadership roles, Mr. Isaacs has served on the Petroleum Products and LPG Technical Committees at the Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS) and as an External Assessor and Moderator for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering under the Ministry of Education's Quality Assurance and Assessment Unit.
Mr. Isaacs began his professional career at the University of Botswana, where he served as an Assistant Technician before advancing to the role of Technician - Plant Engineering. He later joined Botswana Breweries (KBL), where he held the positions of Maintenance Manager and Engineering Manager, before taking on the role of Operations Manager at Botswana Oxygen Company t/a Afrox. Prior to joining Botswana Oil Limited, he served as Supply & Distribution Manager at Vivo Energy Botswana, where he was a member of the Country Leadership Team.
Mr. Isaacs currently serves as the General Manager - Supply at Botswana Oil Limited, where he provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Company's Supply function, supporting Botswana Oil's mandate of ensuring security of fuel supply while strengthening operational excellence and supply capability.
